Consultation: $35.00 Approximately 1 hour in person.
First Visit:
During this session we will discuss your hair care history, your styling preferences (desired size, density and length plays a role in your final cost for establishment) and your lifestyle in order to determine if Sisterlocks™ is right for you. You will also have "TEST LOCS" put in your hair to see if they will hold, check sizes, amount of scalp showing, settling-in time, etc. This consultation is essential for both you and your consultant, to ensure you get your Sisterlocks™ done in the most suitable way.
if all of the above goes well, an appointment for your establishment is made and a deposit of 1/2 the quoted price is due at this time.
Note: Now is a good time to order your starter shampoo from www.sisterlocks.com. The bottle included in starter kit is not intended to get you further than the first 2-4 washes.
Sisterlocks™and brotherlocks establishment:
$1,500.00 up to 6 inches of hair; $200 for every 2 inches after that. This includes approximately 1-3 days to establish your new locks; two weeks follow-up, four week retightening and starter kit. Complimentary water and snacks are provided.
Second Visit:
Bring a good book because the establishment process can take from 12- 24 hours or even longer in some cases. The average Sisterlocks™customer will leave this session with an average of 450 locks and a whole new attitude! I will provide you with a "Starter Kit" that includes the proper shampoo (small bottle) for starting your locks, tiny rubber bands and "tip sheets" on grooming and shampooing as your locks settle-in. Be sure to schedule your follow-up visit before you leave. Good maintenance is the key to gorgeous Sisterlocks™ /handsome brotherlocks throughout your journey.
Third Visit: Follow-up
You will need to schedule your follow-up visit after shampooing at home atleast twice, which is usually within a month from the time you got your locks established. I will monitor the integrity of your locks, tighten them up and give you an idea of how long the settling-in process is likely to take. You can also begin discussing styling tips for the "total look" that's right for you!
Note: If you don't take care of your locks during the 1st 4 weeks and there is an excessive amount of repair (beyond 4 hours) you will be charged an hourly rate @100.00/hr) for reestablishment services.
Re-tightenings are $100.00/ hour
I recommend that you schedule your first six re-tightening visits at 4 week intervals. This way, the progress of your locks can be closely monitored. As your locks mature, I will be able to determine how often you will need to come in for re-tightening. The average time between visits is between 4-6 weeks, depending on the hair type and the rate of hair growth.
Repairsessions are $100.00/hr. for up to 3 hours and $50.00 per hour after that. Includes un-matting, reattachment, splitting, re-stablishing grid, bunching, slippage, etc.
Traditional Locks Maintenance (large interlocking method only) $125.00/hr. and up.
Interlocks Install $300.00 and up. Prices vary depending on under cuts, length, etc.
THERE IS A $25.00 DEPOSIT TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT (via telephone) will be applied to your balance due at the time of appointment.
NO REFUND/ON DEPOSIT (if you don't show up credit balance is $0 at next appointment and an additional $25.00 will be required to reschedule.)
